I'm late to the Zeus party but am smitten with the marque. There are lots of BF threads on Zeus but it seems to me like we need to gather all the pics in one place so here we go:

i need help with finding new rubber hoods for this style levers - soon to be on another build as well (not a Spanish bike).

here’s an indoor quick pic of the centerpulls. Gave an extra couple mm for front tire clearance.
but i should update with pics after install of center-pull brakes, and Zeus headset. And nice Zeus hubbed wheelset from Drillium Dude

Uncommon reverse-anodized Zeus 2000 rear derailleur:
Today it is owned by the OP along with all the other Zeus stuff that was original to the Medici.
And here's an uber-rare alloy 2000 freewheel. I passed this on some years ago, can't recall if it went to somebody here or Ebay...

It was a nice trade with Drillium Dude, shiny Campagnolo for black Zeus, that sent me down the slippery slope of searching for and buying black Zeus hubs, building an Open Pro wheel set with black spokes and finally finding the right frame to hang it all on. The result of all this is the Zeus 2000 / Supercronos bike in post 1. There is still some work to be done. There is a black Zeus freewheel out there and a black crank set. All I need is a lottery win and I’ll be there.

My old legs couldn't hack the 53/42 rings on my Super Record crank, so it got replaced with a Zeus 48/36 crank:

I put a Zeus track crank on my fixed gear bike:
I have a couple Zeus 2000 freewheel bodies and a bunch of sprockets:

...I only ask because the only Zeus bikes I've seen ( a grand total of two) were built to French standards, with metric tubing and French threads.

I'm nostalgically enjoying this thread, my first quality bike was a Zeus Pro I bought in 1973 with part of my summer earnings. I let it go when I got my Mercian in 1988. While I wish I still had it, it was too small within a year or two after I bought it at age 16 and a half. Wildwood's most closely resembles it visually, but there are difference. It had a Durifort frame with a sloping crown fork painted a pearlescent navy blue. Record components and the same centerpull brakes. Oddly enough, my other main activity was photography yet I don't have a single decent photo of it. One day when I refile my negatives from back then maybe I'll find a forgotten picture.

I built this with a New Racer group, though I upgraded the RD to a Supercronos.
The New Racer group came from a seller in Germany. He also had a 2000 group in the box but it was more than I wanted to spend.
