I don’t mind being the lone voice saying this- thin, thin, thin tires on non-Velocity deep-v rims.

Pizza cutter effect. Put it in a high gear and be patient about your weight pushing the pedals down while you feel the hard bottom of the road underneath the slop.

That brown goup is a regular theme here. At ~180lbs combined, 28mm tires work okay, but 23’s swish right through.
