Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Fun ride in Boulder. About 50 miles with a little over 7,000 ft of climbing.

I have the groovy red shades.

New favorite hobby: watching tourists crash paddle boats at Stow Lake while drinking mid-ride beers.

Fyxation Open, which is kind of this sideshow event for the finale of the Intelligentsia Cup in Chicago. The two dudes that beat me went on to do the 90min P/1/2 crit.

Insanity.

The boy's ripping off 5 miles at a time, within a week or two of his first ride ever. Could probably double/triple it easily. His confidence grows every ride. So cool to watch.

they opened an under construction park today for a few hours for the public to check out, ive always missed these in the past but i got a hot tip from a coworker so i headed there after work. there was free kayaking but i didnt bring a lock, the line was ten miles long and it was 102º in the sun. not feelin heatstroke waiting on line.

PP & CP has some competition once this thing is open, you can really fly on the main loop. so much training.

some sw8 gravel roadz too

for non nyc locals, this area used to be the worlds largest dump, and can be seen from space
