Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Just breathed new life into a frame i've had sitting around for 18months. Its my first ss bike since i was a kid. I really like it and its simplicity.

So the BD replacement fork has the exact same brake clearance issues with 25s as the fork it was supposed to replace... lol? Oh well, I'm pretty into the chrome. And ignore the purple bar tape, it was an ugly mistake. Now someone buy me a VO -17° stem.

P.S. Cat butt.

I don't think it was. You should keep the purple tape.

Forgive all the extra stuff on the frame, it makes me feel a little self-conscious but I'm more practical than I am fashionable (I also added a rack). Just your standard 42/16, nothing special since it's my first ss. I loooooooove it.

I had actually cut the decal for my new Omniums, which ended up not fitting due to a machining issue, but the inside face of those weren't flat enough either. Fortunately, the S300's were, so I get to rock the decal until I get my replacements.
