thx.

still have the blue, which is a great ride for someone who wants a bike for climbing and longer rides or races

If I was more of a hilly road racer or climber the Blue would be a better ride, but that's not me.

I've never owned any of the old Langsters, so I couldn't tell you from experience how the ride is different. I do know that the previous Langsters, with the exception of the Langster Pro and Langster Comp, didn't have track geometry. The new ones do, so this would definitely have an affect on how it rides. I can't see the bike because there's some obnoxious thing in front of it.

Oh whatever, the first scratch means you can stop worrying about keeping it pristine and start riding it for real. Own your scratches, you've earned them.

I bought my kilo damaged from bikeisland.com so that I wouldn't have to worry about the first scratch

Lol. I knew it was going to happen eventually sitting in a bike rack on a college campus. Oh well. A sharpie will make it look good enough. Also sort of related, I ordered bulhorn bars, black/grey splash bar tape, chrome casual clipless shoes, and nashbar platform/clipless pedals. Now I just need to steal someones tools.

Don't steal tools, they're expensive. Maybe your school has bike coop nearby.

Also, take pride in scratches.

Yeah I wouldn't steal them. One of the guys on my xc team has some bike tools he said I could borrow. If not my parents will be down to visit in a few weeks so they can bring me my tools.
