Entertaining thread! I wish I could meet you all, so I won't name anyone lest I omit someone else. The advice I should be heeding: be careful what you wish for!

List is too long.....but I want to do Eroica Cal and Cino next year to hit a bunch of people.
I have the idea to take opportunities to meet people as a travel. I have this nucleus of thought about doing a see parts of the country drive and look up people as I go.
otherwise if I am local via travel will reach out.

Hoping to get this move out of the way so that I can get back to doing more riding. Between having lived in Pennsylvania for years, being in Kentucky for a few, and having attended Cirque a few times, I've met about 1/3 of the folks who've posted here so far. Would love to go west to buzz around in Oregon, and do Cino and Eroica. Would like to do some summer riding up north of the border, and make a more southerly swing as well.
Hoping the latest round of house hunting nets me a house within shouting distance from Skyline Drive, and comfortable quarters for a few guests.

I think the people I mentioned are ones that are less likely to go to an event that I'd have the opportunity to meet up with. I'm planning on Cino this year, more opportunities!

If any of you are mtb nuts, I'm hosting in the Iron Range in northern Minnesota this August.
I know this is off topic, but we have seven commits to three days in Cuyuna Lakes.

Might have room for one or two more.

Wouldn't mind meeting some New Englanders...
Still flying under the radar locally.

I think gugie might have a pic reproducing this. I was trying to tease it out!

Unfortunately, class 5 forest roads are about as "mountain" as I get.

Ha, funny thread. 😁 I was gonna just say T-Mar & Bianchigirll, but even they can't compete with a dead Lenin. 🤔😉
There are tons of cool people here though, how can you choose? ✌️

Yes, Fernandina has a paper mill on the North tip end of the island. No, it doesn't always stink. Fernandina has a vibrant cycling community and climate that provides year round opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities. There are miles of bike lanes & paths. (As long as you're smart enough to stay off the main drag you don't have to worry about getting mowed down by trucks). Wait till you get to Main Beach before you take your bikes off the rack for a ride. No worries. Be good. Have fun.
