Well guess I'm wrong on pricing. Those prices are just insane for so-so mid level 80's components even if Campy and NOS. In a lot of markets you could buy a whole bike in nice condition with Victory components for under $500.

Not really sure how you rate Victory calipers and levers as "so- so mid level"? Maybe a little research is in order.

Victory was mid ranged. Anything that is NOS has it's value super-sized. Yes there are a lot of used sets out there you can grab for 300-400 but there are very few of them that have never been mounted. Honestly I never buy NOS because I know I'm going to use it and once I do it's value is cut in half. Hell just mounting it on a frame and not even taking it out of the house reduces it's value.
