Also there's the Sunday crit, it sounds like the U25 & U35 fields are empty or close to it, and pay five-deep.. so just showing up may earn you money! (they may be cat 1-4 though, not sure)
A note on the Giro: latest email says that parking should be available at the lot @ Green & Front, contrary to what they previously said. It'll probably be full though..
55 signed up for the p/1/2 field, should reach 70 or 80 by race time! Looking forward to this.

If my wisdom tooth infection doesn't hurt too bad and if I don't have to work earlier than expected, I'll be doing the cat 3/4 redkite tomorrow. Kinda nervous because I've never raced a mixed field with the 3's before I'll have my GoPro if I race, so that'll be nice

Dammit, bent spoke is out of production. Guess I'm in the market for a rear wheel unless I can find a silver 272 mm bladed spoke.

The crit course is the same as the Folsom "Winter Crit" back in February right? At least it seems like it from what I can tell, maybe in a different direction.

Not me. Mt. Tam climb is only 12 miles, on a weekend when I need to be in the office for at least a half day, and close enough to the city that actual climbers will go to it.

I will probably just do the Folsom circuit race. Don't have a TT bike and fall Saturdays are totally absorbed by kids' soccer, so that just leaves Sunday. Good enough.

I'd do the omnium (at least the crit & ciruit) if it wasn't so damn far away.. and not worth the hotel cost for me either.

I've read the crit will be the same course as the Winter Crit and the BP Classic, but should be running clockwise. Also as a note for those doing the circuit course, the city has been doing some repaving on Blue Ravine and parts of Prarie City. It looks like they'll be done with that stretch by Sunday, but there may be some lengths of softer pavement.
It'll be nice to not have to drive to a race.

doing the 'cross race saturday and circuit sunday. doing 'cross in hundred degree heat doesn't seem right, but its a good chance to shakedown the race bike before the season begins.

I just checked the weather, it's been so nice lately that I was appalled to see we're spiking back up to 100 just for the weekend. So much for racing in 80 degree weather.

Not only that but he did it in golf ball-sized hail. The pictures from FB make it look like he was shot by a paintball gun the whole race!

Yeah, something like 0.22 seconds. This is the only time it's acceptable to debate on whether those 10g bottle cages are worth $80 over your 15g cages and other such nonsense.
