mine too.
my w/kg profile has a big trough at the 1 minute data point. although I think it's as much mental and a testing issue as it is actual physical abilities.
I also suspect that it's rare to find someone (like WR) whose profile spikes at 1'.

I really haven't tested mine yet, so the data I have doesn't look very pretty. To make myself happier, I just look at the 5 and the 20 minute power. Both are looking good and will go up when I start concentrating on them.

Both of my 5 and FT numbers are looking good too. Not exceptional.

Don't worry. My 5 second and 1 minute power are still in the middle of the Cat 5 range right now. I suck too (right now).
Looks like I'll be at one of the two Greenville races on March 7-8 weekend. Probably the Saturday one.

It really does help to start your 1' test with a 5" test, and just keep on going. I'm still unable to hit a 5" record during a 1' test, so my legs are somehow aware of what's coming, regardless of what my brain is saying.
The portion from 30"-45" is so hard that it makes it tough for me to mentally gear up for a 1' test. I can always remember the few pedal strokes I regret, where I know I lost a few Watts.
I'm interested in fatigue after the test. Are those of you with a valley in your profile at 1' able to test at the same 1' power in the same workout? It seems like those with a peak in 1' power pretty much ruin their day with a 1' test. Something about burning nearly 50kJ in 60 seconds, I suppose.

I'm racing 3s.
I'm just starting base 3 right now--I'm going to throw in intervals at threshold. I'm looking forward to seeing what my 1' power will be after my first build session.

I used to do intervals with a guy who cant sprint to save his life, but is a wattage monster everywhere else, he takes a while to get the legs churning. When we would do side by side 1' intervals, I'd explode out past him, then at about 45" I'd start to hear him, and at 55" he'd be passing me. every time.
subsequent 1' average Ws drop off steadily after a test, but usually takes about 3 for me to really see an appreciable drop. i.e. I'm not cooked for the day, this leads me to suspect that I'm not really mentally commiting to the 1'.

Nothing to say, but that I feel your pain.
On the e-wang chart, I'm in solid "cat 3" territory in FT and 5min, but I have an untrained "non-racer" 15sec and 1min. That term, non-racer, is forever etched in my brain. Could there possibly be a bigger insult?

Ugh. Saturday is River Falls. I'm not yet in the mood to do all that climbing. Maybe I'll do Sunday.

I'll probably do the River Falls. My wife and I will be staying with her aunt in Easley and I hate getting back late on Sunday night.
Just follow the puppy dog!

You guys laugh at your 1 min power.
Here's something to make you feel better. My power profile. Weight is about 145, and FTP is set to 250.
You don't need to thank me for making you feel better. You're welcome in advance.
Enjoy...
