Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Most of what they air is NPR programming or local stuff.

How long is it?

Day two of a three-day February rain event. Then it's going to turn cold again.

I mean, I guess they made a boring topic as entertaining as possible. But it was of dubious worth back when it was live. Why would anyone like to hear it years later?

Much more up my ally is the show where people call in with medical ailments.

We’ve got snow coming in early afternoon. It’s been a long time since I’ve been caught out riding in the snow accumulating with miles to go. Today may be the day!

Nice

I very much wish that my 6 strings were a bit longer, a 34" low B has always felt a little floppy to me.

I think if I ever bought another bass it would be a multiscale 5 or 6 string.

I have some guitar things. Nothing I made, though. Stuff I put together, but nothing I made. I'd get a pic, but they are at home and definitely not in one place.
