I'm looking forward to mounting a custom rack deck from Woody's Fenders, just like this one I put on my Raysport:
I'm going with a rack deck rather than fenders on that bike so I can run the 700c x 35mm Paselas and still avoid the dreaded skunk stripe.

My '88 Centurion Carbon Ironman. It looked good before,but better now. It rides, fits and looks better with different, stem, bars,cables,pedals, and wheels.

The 1965 Dilecta Le Blanc has now been road tested and is a splendid ride that just seems to want to fly on its Pelissier hubs, Super Champion rims and Michelin tires. Came to me as a fixed gear bike last fall. Since the last picture, I have moved the bottle cage to the down tube and fitted a frame pump along the seat tube.

Just finished up a 94 Marin Sausalito hybrid that was given to me a couple of yrs ago. The bike needed a fair amount of work including getting three 5mm broken bolts out of her, turned it into a commuter & installed fenders, racks & 700x38 tires. The bike came stock with a corn cob cassette which I replaced with a 11-28 and had to swap out the original Shimano 400CX crank for a Sakae SX with 46/36/26 rings, the stock crank had a funky bolt pattern & I couldn't change the gearing. I installed a taller stem with a set of 70cm wide riser bars for a more upright seating position. Bike rides very nice and isn't a tank after installing all the parts I did as it was pretty light before the upgrades. She is not my size so she's going to be hitting the market soon.

Before: 1985 PGN-10 that I pulled from the trash in spring '17.
After: New saddle, cables, housing, hoods, bar tape, tires, and a thorough cleaning. Since have added a bottle cage.

Beautiful restoration job. I'm trying my best not to covet the thing, but i sure wish I had one like that, especially one that old. My Lemond is a 2001 Trek-bult one. I feel so outclassed.

This Volare has been through at least two revisions since I got it last December, but it's now finished. Except for the H+Son TB14 wheel rebuild... but that could be a while.

Sheriff's star is Dura-Ace, original to the bike and both front and rear. Everything but the saddle is mid/late-70s Japanese, by design; I even stayed away from my beloved Cinelli cockpit.

'80s Puch 130
A couple of weeks ago my friend brought me his bike to restore. I am very new to restoring and working on bikes so I used it as an opportunity for more practice. Started off taking my time but eventually just wanted to get it done and on the road for him.
I won't show the decal touch-up from up close because it is embarrassing. It's clumpy nail polish. Just wanted to see how the colors looked all together. If it bothers him too much I told him he could just wipe it off with nail polish remover.
As a beginner, was excited but mostly overwhelmed by how much work this would be for me
Bar tape was his choice
I think there is little life left in the chain but worked in all gears pretty smoothly during a 5 mile test ride.
Not too happy about the cassette but the chain lubricant should halt any rust? Wasn't really rusted anyways, it's the golden hour lighting...I think
Both hubs were dried out, along with the headset. Overhauled those and didn't have to worry about the sealed Shimano bottom bracket
Overall happy with the outcome. Unfair comparison to the before pictures because of the extra effort into the after pictures

That's last one is a great angle for a bike shot, never tried that one before. Is it difficult to pull off? The bike looks almost like it's flying, with that blue sky in the background.

Not really difficult. I just probably looked dumb laying on my side on the grass. I used "portrait mode" on my iphone 7+. Unfortunately it blurs out anything it thinks is not the foreground like the spokes. I was just trying to include the palm trees in the background, wasn't going for the flying effect but thanks!
