Participated in a small gravel race today. Winds were 20-30 mph, which was grueling but had a great experience nonetheless

Epic adventure today, 95km, 1300m of climbing, unseasonably warm...

One of the seemingly rare descents

Yeah, that ended up being a hike and bike on that climb. Was definitely like a medium offroad trail for 4x4 Jeeps etc on that hill lol. Chunky rocks, really loose, rock ledges, etc.. lol

Cool pics! One is blurred on the edges of your bike and I couldnt zoom in more- what rear rack did you use?...is it a carbon tailfin?...I havent seen one in use before and didnt think there was a platform on it. Also, what is the rear bag?

Thanks!
Yes it's a tailfin, the main arch is carbon, the horizontal support is aluminum, but they make it in carbon as well (also they make the arch in aluminum). It is very well engineered and executed and I like that it's very modular. I could convert it with a few extra pieces to get rid of the horizontal part and use the bag as part of the structure. The bag (which is also made by tailfin btw) has an aluminum rigid frame on the bottom already. But I like this set up because you can remove the bag quickly without removing the whole rack (which would also be super quick, but I would rather bring only the bag in the tent at night than the whole rack). It's also useful when you kind of over pack the bag as it can be somewhat difficult to get things in and out due to the seat kind of being on top of it. The back snaps in and out of the rack with quick release connector and takes a second. The straps are useful to put a jacket or gloves for easy access or just something to dry out.
Here's a pic where you can see the whole set up better

Is there a trick to how to pull your iphone from the back jersey pocket, take a photo and put it back in? There are many times I want to take a shot - but don't want to stop as I am riding with a group.
someone needs to make a little camera which can mount on your helmet and be activated from the Di2 Hood Button.

^ ride 1 handed?
I do slow down to take pics, which wouldn't work in a group. Maybe slow to the back of the group, snap a pic, then catch up.
