Odd question, need to find brake pads for a bike I dont have pics of

There is a homeless guy that "begs" a few miles from my house. I have talked to him before, given him a few bucks when I can, and he seems like a nice guy.......anyway he rides a sweet old Raleigh Mixtie. Its in ok shape but I noticed it needed a few things like a new seat, bar tape, and I would guess some new pads.

I got the first two covered, but what pads (by that I mean since there are different ways to install them, a bolt or a nut or, ect) would he maybe need.

Im guessing since its an old bike that it is going to have the kind that have a nut on the back.

Thanks

I can't answer your brake pad question, but I applaud what you are doing to help this guy out. The Universe will look kindly on you for it

Cheers,
Chris

Most likely those will have a stud and nut. I'd look for some Kool Stop Continentals guessing these are steel rims.

+1. And go with the salmon colored Kool stops - especially with steel wheels, the guy's life may depend on it .

Here you go Mike: https://www.amazon.com/Kool-Stop-Bicy...1571950&sr=8-1

There are probably some that would fit in the bins at Bworks as well.
