Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeah, you're old. You need a mid life crisis car.

It's important that a boy have a good relationship with his mom. Especially if she can solve all his problems for him.

Even better if he posts about it here.

Tell us how that lifestyle evolved into your middle aged form. On second thought, don't tell us.

step 1 to getting older: lose hair in the places you want it.
step 2: grow hair in places you don't want it.
step 3: hair from step 2 turns grey.

Savvy523 - In case you didn't recognize this American's are thin skinned. You might add that to the list somehow.

To the posters that took offense and have "retaliated" by writting in to a forum - you are thin skinned. Anyone out there with a sense of humor? And it's not even mid-winter yet.

It is like arguing with a nine year old. If you do that in the first place you are still arguing with a nine year old.

Then go post it in the Over 50 forum. But hire a ghost writer to make it funny for you first.

The Official Rules of the Middle-Aged American Cyclist

Build your bike inexpensively.
Ride it.
Maintain it religiously.
Drop poseurs on your commute.
Drink coffee.
Realize none of it matters.

At least my life-partner isn't 19 years older than I am, and sleeping with my dad.
