Just bought a Cervelo S2 AND P2 with the $2000 off deal!
After searching in the latter half of the season for a new bike to replace my aging Trek 1500 with 9 speed 105, I was ultimately stuck between the Foil, Supersix Evo, or S5. Then Cervelo offered the "$2000 off when you buy 2 bikes" deal, and the decision was made for me. Apparently, the phones at my LBS have been ringing off the hook since yesterday, when the deal was announced.
At this point I thought, hey, why not throw in a P2 in there (I have at least some interest in TTs and triathlons in the future) if it means getting this steal of a deal.
I've always had reservations about the S5's appearance, and when I walked into my LBS and saw the bike, I realized that I really disliked its long head tube length and its aesthetic even more in person. So I decided to go with the S2 Rival for $2800.
The store had a 2011 P2 Rival in stock for $2550. Although I am 6 feet tall, I have a longer torso, so I ended up going for a 56cm in both bikes.
So the total price was $2800+2550-2000 = 3350 + taxes. The LBS owner said I got the deal of the century. I concur. I will be taking delivery of the bikes this week and will of course post pics.
My advice to anyone out there: If you have any interest at all in Cervelos, jump on this deal before it expires on January 31. Find a shopping buddy or get a TT/road pair - you won't regret it!

Good choice. You will enjoy your S2, and probably the P2 as well. I really want a P2, or a P3.

Well you know what I got today???? Some brake pads! Beat that!!!
Congrats man! Both are awesome bikes! Wish I had the dough.....
BTW, I think you made the right decision between the S2 and S5, the S5 looks freaky in person.

After getting a fit and figuring out whether the P2 or P3 will fit better this week or next, I should be joining the club early January.

Wow awesome deal congrats! Thanks for the heads up on this deal I wasn't aware of this.
Anyone in the MA/NH area willing to go in on two bikes with me please PM me. I plan on buying from fitwerx.com in Peabody MA.
I was dead set on getting a CAAD, but this deal is too good to pass up.

Now you need 2 decent sets of wheels.
Snarky comments aside-- congrats! Very smart use of this promotion. $2,000 is cool and all, but the percentage you saved is massive compared to someone buying a Di2 S5 and P3.

Maybe Zipp will be motivated to do the same thing - all those new Cervelo owners need new wheels
