Ronde van Vlaanderen

Best race of the year. This year it went through my home town and I have the option to watch it from my couch in Atlanta.

Pass me a beer please!!!

That last 3 km was really cool to watch (no spoilers). Interesting tactics between the leaders.

Great race.

I love DVRs. Watching it right now. I can't believe I just saw Cancellara crash out like that.

Bummer for Cancellera. Triple collarbone fracture after hitting a bottle in the feedzone.

Great race.

I think all three of them played their best tactics for the win... that's what de Ronde is supposed to be! Still miss de Muur, but the new course was pretty selective so I'm warming up to it.

You really expected to open a thread titled "Ronde van Vlaanderen" and not see any spoilers for the race? That's just silly.

Really, even though when threads are reported for spoilers I have to look at them since I am a mod. How silly of me.

If only there were an appropriate forum for threads like this. Something like a Professional cycling for the fans forum.........oh wait.........

Actually I had no idea this forum existed and I'm sure most of the people that read the 41 dont either. Sorry for the inconvenience....
Now that I do know that professional cycling discussions are not welcome on the Road Cycling Forum I'll be sure not to bring it up.

Went to watch it on "de Beerendries" with my 2 year old kid ... good time and I was surprised at the enormity of the crowd there!

Good to see Tornado Tom back to winning. Here's hoping he gets a P-R double next week and then pulls out the T-shirt with his dating philosophy written on it

Well, hopefully the mountains of coke and strippers that you mods get makes up for the inconvenience

That was a fun race to watch. Vlaam4ever, pretty cool that it went through your town. Was this because of the new course, or has it always gone through.

I really need a trip to Belgium where I can do some riding.
