Chain Ring Spacer Question + Wear
Hi and thanks for looking
The spacer that goes between the crank arm and the chain ring on a 1997 Campy Record drivetrain? Does anyone know what kind of spacer goes in that spot? I think I have a spacer in there that might NOT be the correct size b/c when the chain ring rotates, this spot comes in very slightly. It's this piece but I have no clue on the size? https://www.amazon.com/Wheels-Manufacturing-4-3mm-Chainring-Spacer/dp/B003Z822B4/ref=pd_day0_200_17?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B003Z822B4&pd_rd_r=5DXYGPM6NACCA7XX13AD&pd_rd_w=GR5it&pd_r d_wg=3ufb8&psc=1&refRID=5DXYGPM6NACCA7XX13AD
I noticed some spacers at 3.8mm?
Plus, from the picture, those teeth look too worn?

Am I seeing a flat portion of your spacer ?, if so, I suspect its rotated out of position,
(mechanic not paying attention to their work?)
and should be @ 12:00 facing outboard..
so allows chain to settle fully, further, onto the chainring tooth...
it should be as thick as the other 4 arms of the crank arm are , between the chainrings.
Is it ? measure..
