This Schwinn Premis in San Diego looks to be in beautiful shape, an upgraded front wheel, and nicely priced. I've got too many bikes already, or I'd be after it:

@Rice Wash -- if you've got a bike itch, need a tourer and enjoy the crazy late 80s/early 90s.

$100. Novara Corsa. Full touring spec (lowriders, triple crank). Tange Infinity tubing. Paint looks minty fresh. Internal cable routing is a classy touch.

That's easy enough to source from someone on BF for peanuts. Or the BikeDepot had some a few weeks ago.

a bit random but I was in Urban Ore (Berkeley CA) today and they had a trek 850 mountain bike for $25. it was tiny.. probably the 14.5" - definitely a project, but still had its mostly stx components. i should have grabbed a picture: but anyone around these parts looking for a X-small mtb, its a nice cro-mo frame with decent components for $25!

[h=2]Bridgestone 600 road bike w/ 47cm frame for 5'4" - 5'8" - $245 (Cambridge) hide this posting[/h]

safety tips

Bridgestone 600 road bike with a 47cm frame to suit riders from 5'4" to 5'8" or so.

Ready to ride as is with no repairs needed. $245.

Available to deliver to the Cambridge area late afternoon / evening.

Call or text me at 617-792-1970 to set a time to see and test ride the bike. Please refer the Bridgestone road bike ... Thank you!

favorite this post Gitane Tour de France - $175 (Somerville) hide this posting

For sale is a vintage Gitane Tour de France with Reynolds 531 frame set and top of the line vintage components.[/CENTER]

Bike features a Stronglight crankset with the factory drilled chain rings.

Gipiemme Sprint hubs made in Italy laced to Wolber Super Champion Gentleman GT rims.

3TTT Record Italian stem.

Excellent MAFAC Competition brakeset

And a Simplex SLJ 5500 derailleur

Bike has all the things you'd want to find in a vintage ride, though the paint is in poor shape, there is no physical problems with the frame. Rear rim is worn, hence the price being lower than it could be.

Would love to sell complete for 175, but could part out for the right prices.

I'm open to offers on both the bike or parts.

Call text or email any time with questions or offers. Thanks, Kyle.

[h=2]Custom "Cerro Gordo Bike Works" 29'er MTB Frame - Ritchey Dropouts - $70 hide this posting[/h] image 1 of 4

make / manufacturer: Ritchey

Have here a neat, possibly Ritchey frame. Looks like it was converted to a 29'er setup at a frame shop. This involved removing the bridges that run between the fork stays and adding bracing at the seat tube and bottom bracket, as well as relocating the brake posts to accommodate a 29er wheel. I have detail shots of this work. I'm not totally sure it is Ritchey, as I've been told the Serial #'s dont match up, but it does have Ritchey dropouts. Definitely a quality frame, steel has a great ring to it

I can't believe anyone paid 2500 for that...I thought the asking price was insane. Rarer than confente...mmmmk, but I'd also think a lot less desirable. Shows how little I know.

It's kind of like ignore I think. You can hide it if you don't want to find it again and again. If it was objectionable then you could report it but otherwise you can hide it.
