Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

After waiting for over 6 weeks the final and last pair of "LIMITED" Edition SIDI's arrived today from my LBS . I really like this color combo also and sure looks to be a great match with my new Rolex Daytona in Solid Rose Gold and Chocolate Dial..

I'd rather have a Newnan Daytona. Would work with the shoes much better, too.

I agree that it’s a nice looking watch.

Far better looking than that heap @trekmogul originality posted here.

It is a curious world in that certain brands have their "look" and miss the mark for many collectors, yet those same brands have their set of collectors, too. Modern watches are the same way. One looks great to some and not so great to others. Brand name is a biggie for many collectors and non-collectors. I only collect two brands and only certain types. The fun fact is that I my daily wear watches are Timex analog quartz. Cheap, reliable, water resistant enough to ride in a downpour or a quick swim in the lake. Scratches? Who cares?!! Drop it once in a while? Who cares?!! I get 7 years out of a battery, the timing function stays relatively good for 10-12 years and then I get a new watch. Perfectly practical and nobody notices it on my wrist. Perfect.

I stopped wearing a watch about four years ago. I only miss it when I get dressed up.

I also wear mine on very rare occasions and a few of them have never left the house for some odd reasoning on my part..! Nothing like a fine crafted wristwatch to go along with your attire...

My non-limited edition Sidi shoes are 9 years old and I still love them. They aren't much to look at but jeeezzz do they feel great. Double centuries and no foot issues ever.
I will be so sad when I'm not able to get replacement straps any more (they changed the latching system)

On a side note: Why did they change? The old style was perfect and easier to use. The new style is so similar, but not a s good, and they've they stopped making th eolder parts....
