Three steel bikes - three continents of manufacture - three colleagues at the end of a busy summer day at a now-defunct bike shop on Commercial Drive in Vancouver, BC.
I knew the bike on the far right before I saw the BF handle (I was scrolling up from the bottom)

Come April 22 and you'll have had it an even decade. Glad to see you still have it and are using it as intended.

Wow, that long! I hadn't realized.
I only have one bike I've owned longer, the '85 Nishiki Prestige I bought as a frame set in 2009 or 2010 and built up after moving to Vancouver from Montréal.
That Mercian is a keeper - great fit and a bike that just feels special to ride.
And the only bike I have with period-correct full Campagnolo group (minus the Modolo Pro levers I subbed for the ugly Dia Compes on there when I bought it).
Bike is now also sporting '84 date code Brooks Pro (matching year of frame manufacture), thanks to a purchase from Rootboy on the Forum here a few years ago.
Thanks for the reminder that an anniversary of sorts approaches, Jeff! Wouldn't have happened in the first place without your assistance.

The River is a constant companion on my cycling adventures.

I ride the trails that follow it, or my planned destination is usually along its banks -
Be it the mighty Mississippi, the mellow Minnesota, or the scenic Saint Croix River
I am never far from their slow-flowing waters
They bring me Peace
