How many miles did I ride this year? I have no freaking idea. I only did 24 25-mile commutes due to a very wet Spring - early Summer here in Ohio, and only < maybe > another two- to three hundred on miscellaneous rides. So I'd say a tad less than a thousand miles or so total... Pathetic, I know... Too much road salt on the roads to ride any more this year...

Not too sure, over 5000 miles though. The odometer reads 4100 now but it crapped out with a dead battery last spring and I didn't pay attention to the YTD mileage back then.

This is the first year in a while that I've changed the chain twice in a calendar year. I last did that when I was 55 and had a 7000 mile year. In my commuting days, I had quite a few 10,000 mile years and kept a good stock of chains and freewheels/cassettes from Nashbar, going back to the days of six cogs.

Looks to be 9385 my best year by far due to covid and not doing a lot of other things. I am retired that helps too. I am a runner too but that has taken the drop. I never count trainer miles it has to be on the road to count. Oddly I am no a century type rider. My longest ride this year was only 71 miles however I had most rides at 50 miles. I think in the middle of the summer I had some 15-20 50 mile rides in a row. My previous best year was 2015 did 5900 so I blew that up pretty good.

Another wild stat is I only went though 1 complete set of Conti GP 4's I got 7000 miles on a set and then I put some 5000's on. They really last me but I try to avoid horrible roads. Have not been out now do to weather in past week and don't think the next 2 days look good,

First year back on the bike after a 15 year hiatus, and I will pass 3600 miles for the year this week. I'm very happy with that. I had a 6 week break when I was dealing with a couple of physical issues, but have been able to be pretty consistent about 100+ mile weeks for the last 3-4 months. Longest ride was 55 miles, and it was a stretch of my current endurance limits. I hope to push that limit into the 70+ range this year. More than anything, it feels good to be back on the bike again.

Not sure if I should have used an edit or quote sine it has been a few days since the first one, but---

< EDIT > - forgot to mention that from late July to Labor day I was on 'Wife Support Duty' after her knee replacement. So that was five weeks in the middle of our 'dry season' that I had to be at her beck-and-call. AND you're gonna love this -- her walker has an old-school bulb-type bike horn mounted to it. That was a BIG hit with the hospital staff! In fact, her first recollection of post-surgery was one of the staff squeezing the horn to wake her up!

Sometime next year she has the other knee replaced... I'm lobbying for late March so she doesn't ruin my riding season!!

Was looking for my first 5k miles year - more than half would come from commute...
I just did a 50 miles ride today and sitting at 3990 - but tomorrow and Thursday's forecast is rain - still planning on getting to 80% of my original goal

Dunno. My beloved Avocet with altimeter started crapping out in June and took accumulated mileage to the grave. Got a quick replacement which was rather convoluted and after a month accidentally zeroed out the mileage. So disgusted, I rode another month without one until I found my current. So officially, 1800 miles on the new one, give or take.

Nothing even close to you hard-core riders! I was hoping to break my record last year of 1,907. Started off the year good until the pandemic and lockdown. Indoor trainer for a couple of months. Then started out on the road again around May. At that point I had given up for the record breaker. A month ago I noticed I could still do it. Finished with 1,9028 last week. That felt good considering I had given the year up at the start of the pandemic. Also climbed the most I have ever in my life with 81,414 elevation gained. All in all I guess it was a good year for me.

About 5K, but did a lot more MTB this year. Changed Strava to show hours instead of miles (460 hours)

Riding in northern Ohio is awesome. Did a metric century in 19 degrees last week as part of the Rapha Festive 500. Don't need too many more of those!

5000 km for me this year.

Regardless if you did 10 miles or 10,000 we should all be grateful that we were able to ride our bikes. Congratulations to you all.

16,302 miles for 2020. By far the most I've ever done. My goal at the beginning of the year was 5,400.

I wound up with 5,426 total miles (all outdoor, actually moving) for calendar year 2020, way down from previous years due to COVID/quarantine shenanigans.

Mostly indoors on Zwift & RGT cycling so the mileage is more favorable especially before I switched to RGT. Finally got the saddle time back up after 4 consecutive crappy years. Hope to bring my hours back above 700 in 2021.

About 1315 miles, not so bad if you think this is my 1st serious year of cycling and if you take into accout about 3 months of lockdown....

I normally average 10,000 to 12,000 annual miles. Last year was, well, last year. Between a bad crash that had me off the bike for two months with a broken clavicle and some medical issues that surfaced afterward, I managed to at lest break 5,000 miles; but just barely.I haven't started off January very well but hopefully that will change soon.

Did 4709 for 2020. Was off the bike for 7 weeks following being run off the road into a face plant. Figure I would have broken 5000 (my usual in recent years) had that not happened. With the pandemic, I probably biked more days, but shorter mileage per day. A long ride requires carrying lunch which I did a few times, but I really missed being able to stop at a cafe along the route.

Final tally was 6400 miles with about 250,000’ of climbing at an average of 67 miles per ride. I don’t ride as often as some do but when I do I make it count!! Plus I walked 18 holes of golf for over 200 rounds. That’s about 1200 miles of walking on the golf course.
