Looking for a recommendation for a helmet for warm climates. Lighter color, good venting, etc.

Giro Aether and the SWorks Prevail II are a couple I liked that let a lot of air through. But that was a year ago when I was looking so maybe some others are out that are as good or better.
White tends to go with anything if you are fashion conscious about your riding. Also probably reflects heat better if my 2nd grade science teacher knew what they were talking about.

My current helmet is the Lazer Z1 and it ventilates quite well and I overheat easily. The newest G1 is supposed to be a bit lighter but has a few fewer vents but honestly I don't know either would be a bad choice for what you are looking for.

So, I wouldn't consider NE Mass to be a warmer climate on a relative basis 
; that said I love the Abus Airbreaker. Unfortunately, they've dried up in availability in the US, though Canyon used to sell them with their own branding. I wouldn't personally get too hung up on color really being a heat mitigating thing btw. Think about how far from your skull, separated by some sorta industrial form, the colored laminated ply actually is.

POC helmets have excellent venting if you don't mind the mushroom head look. The Omne Air Spin is less pricey and less mushroom-head looking than the Octal and Ventral.

I have the matte black Specialized Prevail II and it was fine in the hotter weather here in SoCal. I wear a moisture wicking cap under it and that helps with temp regulation/sweat as well. I don't think the color makes much of a difference, seems to be more about the airflow.

MET Trenta 3K in white. Ventilation is great, it's white (I swear it makes a difference under the sun, but I may be wrong), and it's pretty light, too.
A cap underneath also helps a bit.
