I’ve had this frame for the last 12 years and I finally decided to build it up. I knew a guy who bought a couple of shipping containers of these frames when they went out of business. This frame was was one of the last ones they produced and it included some improvements over the first generation frames. Including a thicker seat tube, disc brake mounting tabs, and an added gusset where the down tube meets the seat tube. This frame was not painted when I got it so I had it powder coated.

See you plan to run SS, will you be using a tensioner? Post up when done with the build

I decided I had better build this while I could still find parts. 26ers are almost obsolete. If I stay with the single speed I’ll use a chain tensioner. But I might go with a 1x9 set-up if I can find a decent derailleur - shifter setup.
I built up one of these 15 yrs ago. I used a lot of carbon fiber parts and XTR components. 22 lbs was not bad for a 27 speed w/ suspension fork. It was/is a fun bike to ride. I gave it to my son in law. It makes great commuter with skinny tires.
