Help ID this Peugeot
I found what appears to be a 70's Vintage Peugeot . It appears to not have a cottered crank so I was hoping that it might be something slightly special and not the cheaper bike. It has a Simplex drive train and Weinmann Center pulls.

Looks to be a late 70's Canadian UO series bike nothing special but a great basic rider. The most note worthy thing about these is the really nice metalic blue paint.

I believe that’s a 1978 (possibly 1977) UO-10. I know that because my son is taking mine to ride at university, and we pulled it down from the rafters. Took a while to find the model number, etc., on the Web but I’m pretty certain. I bought mine new in early ‘78 (possibly late ‘77). Good solid touring bike; awfully heavy compared to my Scott carbon fiber mountain bike! If I’m right, you should have a serial number that starts Y710 XXXXX; it’s on the left rear axle bracket.
