Masi Special CX
Just bought a Masi Speciale CX. I'm loving it. This is a thread I'll use to dump info on updates and some pictures after modifications and component upgrades.

You Know!? For Kids!
Welcome to the forums. The classic and vintage forum could probably direct you to some Masi info/sites.

Reviving the Masi thread with some pics of my main workhorse. Nothing rides better than this bike.
Laced to a Mavic Open Pro.

Yeah it's one of the best bikes I've ever been on. I'm a little hesitant to add new components since I'm so pleased with it. Why fix something that isn't broken? Although, I'm in the market for a new rear hub.
I've installed a Phil Wood High Flange front hub on a 36H Mavic Open Pro rim and I can say that this worked out so well it makes me wonder why I didn't do this first. Makes a MUCH smoother, and faster, ride. Plus I've hit dozens of pot holes and the rim is true as the day it was built. Great for me since I'm 210lbs.
Curious what the 2012 CX looks like got pics?
Original bar tape finally wore off. Wrapped in Brooks Brown leather. Very comfortable.
Aside from the PW hub, the Brooks saddle is the best upgrade.
