straight-bladed track forks

do they exist? if so, where are they available?

specifically, i'm looking for a fork that resembles the 06 langster fork, or the raleigh rush hour fork, and is NOT carbon.

thanks

Rake mostly. Track forks are usually around 38mm of rake where a road fork will have around 45mm. Also, clearance is usually tighter on a track fork.

well that depends on your headtube angle and what kind of handling characteristics you're after

That's the fork that comes on the Schwinn Madison. It's just painted white (I stripped mine down to the chrome).

track rake is genrally 30-40mm depending on what event its built for. Sprint event usually have smaller rakes. the headtube angle is between 74-75degrees.

I have a straight blade 1 1/8 fork with 43MM of rake. It's not track oriented but it is Columbus tubing. Send me a private message if you are interested. It has 7.5 inches of steer and I will sell it cheaply.

You can buy a Soma rush fork on its own AFAIK. They're 38mm - run about 100 USD

[Edit: totally missed the straight bladed fork bit - just ignore the Soma advice - but they're nice looking almost straight forks and readily available - come in Chrome too]

Aside from that and the options mentioned, best places seem to be the 2nd hand market or a custom frame builder for good forks.
