Do you feel like maybe wiping it down with a rag before you try to sell it for an insane price?

Bridgestone Kabuki Diamond Road - $1,500 (St Paul, MN)

https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/r...264134650.html

Bridgestone Kabuki diamond Road bicycle. This bicycle was manufactured in approximately 1974. It has a dura ace component set including headset brakes shifters hubs front derailleur crane rear derailleur.
The crank set is a sugino with drilled chain rings the bottom bracket is also the top sugino set with the drilled cup.
The chain is a d i d probably original The free wheel is a five speed sun tour winner two prong and again is probably original.
The seat post is SR Royal 26.8 fluted to perfection and carrying a fujita seamless saddle. All these parts are expected to be original. The bar and stem, stem is SR Royal.
The high end looking handlebars show Bridgestone Kabuki.
I don't know what pedals came on this bike but I do know this bike does not have any pedals.
I have no idea why it has a campagnolo seat post binder.
The wheels are 27-in with araya rims.
Frame appears straight, undented, and without a rust problem.
Rear derailleur is less than perfect in that at one time or another it was twisted and reworked.
Finish is less than perfect.

I attach a high value to this bicycle for numerous reasons.
The frame set itself is very very high quality and the parts group is absolute unobtainium.

This bicycle is being sold as is and as a collectible of extreme rarity.

Thank you

I was looking to see if this Nishiki International was worth posting in the "are you looking for one of these" thread, but then this crazy CCM BioCam caught my eye.

I'd want anti-explosion tires if my bike weighed 90 kg (nearly 200 lb). They seem to be proud of that weight!

I clicked on the link and was really hoping for more pictures of the bike. Kind of hard to see with that girl standing in the way.

Not sure if this is "wacky" or a positive testament to the human spirit.
If a human can think that this is worth restoring to ride, maybe we will survive Covid
The idea that this is in fair condition and just "needs at least one cable" passes all understanding.

edit- The bent fork was so conspicuous that at first I didn't even notice the 26" rear wheel and brake that wouldn't reach it!

I see drop bars flipped up into DUI configuration all the time. I see mtb bar ends rotated to sad 90 degree goalposts, but I've never seen cruiser bars flopped into Texas longhorn pursuit bar position. Introducing the world's heaviest time trial bike!

I'm no Huffy connoisseur, but the graphics seem about 15 years shy of 'vintage'.

Also, "World's heaviest time trial bike" seems like the kind of record i can get behind!

Vintage handlebar - eBay.fr

I have to appreciate that someone went through the effort to make these once. But they do not look safe.
To be fair, the seller does say they feel solid but should only be used for decorative purposes only.

Good concept- companies make that out of carbon fiber now and sell it for a lot of dough!
