My wife and I crashed our tandem on a sharp corner after running over a cat, of all things, We were doing 26 mph and leaning into the corner when he ran out and our rear wheel was lifted causing us to go down. Result was ~20 broken bones between us.

Some wag has renamed the Strava segment "Watch for Cats and THANK AN EMT."

It's been a minute ... but I saw one on Zwift today that I need to add to this thread (& maybe get this thread going again). This segment is on the Volcano circuit: I think this is where Anakin fell in

For those that don't Zwift, here's an image of the Volcano Circuit:

Are we able to create segments on Zwift? Because I have the perfect name for a certain spot.

A section of a local MUP is under construction, and the temporary route-around is surfaced with wood chips. The name of the segment is "Mulch Ado About Nothing."

There's a big city park in Raleigh named Dorothea Dix. Long segment through it on the weeknight hammer ride is "dragging your Dix in the dirt".

Mount Woodley because it is only 82’ tall and the segment is less than a quarter mile long. Additionally, it is ironically the only hill in the township called “North Hills”, which is ironically located almost dead center in the middle of the Valley.

"South Through the Valley of Death" Is a good one in Kalamazoo - a nice bike lane abruptly ends and spits you out on to a fast two lane road across a busy overpass.

they repaved this one, so the name isn’t as apt any more, but it was dead right for the longest time.

"Worst Section of Bike Lane North. I can see why tourists get freeked out riding in Napa"

One I haven't ridden for a while: Going fast coz I need a poo.

There's a mtb trail near me called Alsation Descent; the house at the bottom has a pair of alsations that often come out and bark at us as we sail on by.
