Does anyone have a pic of a 2012 Allez Apex?

i could get one for 1000. My choice is between 2012 Allez Apex or 2013 Allez elite. Looking for a pic of 2012. don't know what color it is.

Not bad at $1000, if it's brand-new. I like either color.

I'd like opinions of apex vs. tiagra? Don't know whats better. Now does the double tap shift work? I think the apex has it. You ca n move this to road bikes since i thought i was already there .

Caveat: personal opinion follows, and I'm not a roadie.

Apex is better compared to 105 than Tiagra, which isn't on Apex's level. The Double Taps' theoretical advantage is that you only move one lever, one direction, for both up- and down-shifts. A short distance for an upshift, and a longer one for a downshift. Mutiple-gear downshifts with one push are possible. I have the flat bar version on my new build, and I love it.

I have SRAM Rival with double tap shifters on my road bike. I really like them. With double tap, you use the same shifter to go up and down your gears. I think with Shimano there are two shifters, one for up, and the other for down. I don't think one is better than the other, just a matter of what you are used to.

The bigger difference with Apex versus Tiagra is that Apex has larger rings on the cassette, I think it goes up to 32. Not sure if Tiagra goes that high. I have a 32 on my Rival setup and like having the ability to get lower gearing when climbing than what you would normally be able to do, as I think most compact crank setups only go up to 27 or 28. Not sure what Tiagra can do.
