Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

@BillyD, my boy just received his official offer for a summer internship in Puffkipsy. This will put a summer bike ride to visit him on the agenda, and I will ping you when plans materialize. I have wanted for the past several years to ride to him in New Paltz, but early May routinely has been difficult. I know have a whole summer window.

Super news for your son. In what field is the internship?

If you ride to NPaltz that will be perfect, thus by the time you reach me you'll be all tuckered out, suitable for me to join you for a ride.

Figured all you yahoos would still be here. I've been avoiding this place because I've been off my bike since October after hurting my knee. I had some false impression that if I wasn't riding I shouldn't be posting. That would make me a poseur by default. But hey, who cares! My knee is healing after arthroscopy and I'm ready to be a non-value-added contributor to the 41 again.

This is literally the exact inverse of how the forum works. Reported as well.

Electrical Engineering. He is insanely excited, and he finally is inspired to actually get his driver's license.

Or you could just buy a "1" and make it into a C60.
