Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Good article. The author definitely gave a knowing wink when he typed this line-

"The (anti-doping) agency welcomes anonymous tips via a toll-free number, email, or the U.S. Postal Service"

Then her return to the 18th century was almost expected, but when we see her back there, she isn't showing any sign of having made the shift as she did when she went the other way. She is back in the 18th century properly dressed for that time, not still in here 20th century garb. Neither is Jamie aware of her movement back and forth as Frank was when she first went missing and then reappeared. What are we supposed to think has happened...both times? I looked up some reviews, but this puzzle isn't even addressed. I have seen a lot of dramas featuring time travel (e.g. Lake House, Back to the Future), but they usually feature a consistency and adherence to whatever principal is supposed to be underlying the ability to move across time. This start to the second season of Outlander is just wacky.
I was thrown off, too. I thought that I might have missed an episode or something.

I raced in South Bend and Valpo a few times as well as Battle Creek. Of course, these were crits in the 80s.

todays panic brought to you by:

finding spokes in the right length without having to buy a box of 72, and having them in my hands before the weekend

I live about 15 miles from Valpo. There are some nice areas up here for crits.

I gave up halfway through season one, but unfortunately didn't delete the scheduled recordings. So now I have a dilemma...watch or discard?

I gave up also, but binge watching was great. Evidently my memory is too poor to wait a week between episodes because I often quit a series only to reunite with it in binge mode.

I just finished watching last season of game of Thrones over two nights to refresh my memory in anticipation of April 24. Do I need counseling or medication or both?

We don't have to record it. It is available in real time On Demand.

I researched some swim stuff recently so now I have very distracting ads from swim outlet showing up in here.

Speaking of which, I have not been in the pool since Saturday, gotta go do some laps this evening.

I was stuck in a video game called Soma so I googled Soma for a walkthrough.

In case you people don't know, Soma is also a lingerie company so now I get lingerie ads every where I go.

Same thing happened to me when I used google to check the spelling of "agent provocateur" which I was planning to post in reference to some recent work by the penman. Apparently that's also a lingerie brand. Who knew??

"agent provocateur" used to be the descriptor under my board name years ago.

Their ads are a bit excessive. But, they do have good sales.

Another swim done. I am trying to do better than 2:00 per 100Y but current average pace is about 2:05.

Do swim forums have stupid posts about average speed? I suspect they do.
