Not mine, but a bike I built for a friend with parts found round the shop. She wanted a 'road bike' but we didn't have any 700c frames small enough...so I turned a 26 inch bike into a drop bar commuter and it worked way better than expected. One of the more fun projects I've done b/c the now owner was so incredibly stoked to start riding.

That looks awesome! l've Always wanted one of those Trek Antelopes, ever since my coolest friend had one around 1990.

On the contrary, the Hotshot mount works great for me. I will say that I decided to add a few small washers in the mount clamp to make the clamp a bit more rigid when I tightened down the clamping screw (gives the screw something to tighten against instead of just pushing the 2 clamp ends closer and closer together). But doing that makes the mount very solid. The light itself goes into the mount with a nice solid "click" and also comes out of the mount easily enough, but not so much that you feel like it will come out on a harsh road surface.

Here's my cx bike turned commuter. Just got the Zefal Trail fenders and they work wonders on my GT, not to mention look great as well. Nothing special at the component level, but I am loving this ride so far!

My bike, in it's spot at the office.
I'm trying to commute 1 day a week. It's 23 miles there a bit over 24 back.
I put insane miles on the car due to family duties. But this day is for myself.

They are called "Lightweights for wheels" comes in a pack of 80 or so (more than enough) , go on quite easy and are almost unnoticeable unless at nighttime. I'll see if i could get a shot of the wheels spinning and see what it looks like. Thanks!

I wore out a le tour of that vintage

Overhauled my right ergo and swapped out the red cork for black tape, think I'm done toying with this for a while. I'll call this bike finished. For now.

Just finished modding my two vintage commuters with lights, reflectors, racks, and fenders. I'm still thinking about adding mirrors and a better front light than my trusty cateye. My two vintage commuters are a 1993 Bridgestone XO-2 and a 1989 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp:

Nice; my first "real" commute is tomorrow as well as I just drove to my office to leave my sports jackets hanging behind the door. I've commuted a fair bit but only on days that I didn't have to worry about the dress "code."

Fortunately, I don't have a formal business dress code and a pretty short distance to go. I'll just ride in my work clothes. Of course, I have a backup outfit in my office just in case.
