Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Di2 front derailleur question

Hi
My front derailleur is broken and will need to be replaced. I am not too familiar with replacing parts so can you guys provide some input?

Questions
- Can I replace the 6870 FD with the 8050 FD?
- Can I replace the 6870 FD with Dura Ace FD?
- Is swapping out the DI2 Front derailleur relatively easy or should I get a shop to do it?

I have a 11-32 Cassette with a 50/34 crank. Bike is a Specialized Tarmac SL4 road bike

Thank you!

You sure can! Check this chart out https://di2center.com/2019/02/12/di2...across-series/

As for the ease of install, you can definitely do it on your own, though you will need at least a method to break the chain or disconnect the quick links. (Maybe good time to change the chain entirely).
