Making your bike SS is cheap and simple, because the bike is really a single speed at heart.

wow, why such a short set of bars, have you had much trouble with end strike?

The thing is that the bike is quite comfortable to ride and excels at getting through pretty tight places. The roller-cam brake under the chainstays is another weird thing on that bicycle but it works surprisingly well.
