My goal in life is to do a Tombay-less trackstand. I likely will only succeed on a trike.

I'm thinking you should be able to hold a track stand for 20 or 30

My trainer seems to provide the proper opportunity. Just yesterday I was able to hold a hands off trackstand while drinking water.

If you recline the seatback all the way, you will be able to achieve a horizontal trackstand - a rare feat.

Last summer I saw a young lady on a single speed doing a track stand at a traffic light in Paris-- she was wearing a business suit and high heels. that was a sight.

I've maintained a horizontal trackstand for several seconds, following a failed vertical trackstand. I must say I haven't practiced too many trackstands since switching to clipless pedals in the mid '90s.

Is that by chance a new 2012 GreenSpeed Magnum? If so, may I ask whom you bought through, and the cost? (I've heard $2200 to $2900, and am curious where it landed)

EDIT: Or, perhaps the new "Transport"??
