Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

All Lexus owners will be admitted free. All others will be billed, don't even think about trying to get over.

Steep discount if you at least own a Toyota. Everybody else, fuggeddaboutit!!

@Pirkaus, the trainer because of the flood warnings that have been forecast. It will be pleasant to stay dry 2 nights in a row.

I used to own a Toyota. Does that count?

Too late anyway. I elbowed my way in...

I think Billy is showing a bit of... ummm... lack of knowledge about LX in cycling. LX is, after all, a level in Shimano MTB groupsets. I have several shifters and cranks at LX level.

So yeah, I am admitted free.

Lexus? Meh.

Hmm... what about the Chrysler LX platform? Honda LX-trim cars? And I'm sure I'll think of more later.

Among the big three Japanese auto makers Toyota gives the least value for the money. Always has. Yet for decades that hasn't seemed to hurt its popularity at all. Go figure.

That Takata recall thing made me glad I got rid of my old Accord. Not sure if it specifically was one of the recall models, but it was a '99 sedan and it spent its entire life in Miami so it was exposed to high heat/humidity and salt air on a regular basis, which were the exact circumstances that led to the increased likelihood of explosions in the affected cars.

Nice sunrise.

Gotta use that shadow edit slider in PS or on your phone, bring your bike out of the dark.
