Diamondback Clarity for my wife, the good the bad?

I'm looking for a bike for my wife, I don't want to spend a lot as it won't be rode a lot. Typically I load the kids up in the Burley and take them to the park down the street and then a ride around the neighborhood. She's feeling left out and would like to join us every now and then. So I found a Diamondback Clarity for $349 that I think would do the job for her. I haven't been on a Diamondback since I was a kid and haven't heard much from them in years. Any thoughts on them or this bike?

I bought my wife a DB Clarity about 5 years ago when she wanted a slightly quicker bike than her rigid MTB for rail-trail and light road duty. It served her well and although she moved on to a proper road bike as her mileage increased, the Clarity is still around for rail trail rides. I even mounted some cross tires that made it better for the gravel and dirt surface of the Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Canal.

Overall a solid thumbs up for the type of riding you are describing
