How do Specialized Turbo Cottons fare with potholes?
I have a chance to get some of these tires for very cheap, however I'd just be using them for daily riding.
Is there any reason I shouldn't other than flat protection? Will they have a higher likelihood to blowout going over rough roads?
I'm about 150lbs now and am generally a pretty careful rider but I do occasionally hit some really rough roads on a swift descent in the outskirts of SF

I had a set on my race wheels and they are awesomely supple and fast, but they wear out fast. I don't think you're likely to have any blowouts, but they'll be vulnerable to nicks and cuts much sooner than a lot of other tires.
