In the spirit of no helmets, just about every person that I passed today wasn't wearing one. They were also old people on comfort bikes. I was wearing my helmet though because it's pretty nifty.
Also, someone needs to make a jackass tumblr that allows submissions.

I've spent my whole weekend inside with my air conditioner on, watching Parks and Recreation, and I feel really good about it.

No, I'm hoping I get cleared to ride something other than the cruiser on Wednesday. I like my cruiser, it just gets boring riding it 6 days in a row.

Today I did some more tinkering on the car. Good news is parts came in a day early and naturally the frustration did too.

Time to get back into that rain gear.
I found this bike today though on CL and have to share, it's too good not to.

But it would be worth it for the rear hub

I'm most astounded by the fact that there are no brakes on a freewheel bicycle

Cat4. I know I would get approved for an upgrade but I didn't see a point this late in the season for the "benefits", and then I would have had to have raced open. That's a pretty sick 200 time. I've gotten mine to the low 13's, but to my defense, we have a really bumpy and slow track.
Oh, and today I took second in the points race and third in the 3k pursuit/TT. I won gold in the omnium.

I pretty much die in the mass start races. There are too many enduro guys that drive the pace up too high and I get burnt out before the sprint
