In the spirit of no helmets, just about every person that I passed today wasn't wearing one. They were also old people on comfort bikes. I was wearing my helmet though because it's pretty nifty.

Also, someone needs to make a jackass tumblr that allows submissions.

I've spent my whole weekend inside with my air conditioner on, watching Parks and Recreation, and I feel really good about it.

That's roughly the equivalent of 40 miles on the 930.

have you removed reflectors yet?

No, I'm hoping I get cleared to ride something other than the cruiser on Wednesday. I like my cruiser, it just gets boring riding it 6 days in a row.

Today I did some more tinkering on the car. Good news is parts came in a day early and naturally the frustration did too.

We had a Pinnacle in here this year. Had to weigh 35 lbs in original trim.

I'm most astounded by the fact that there are no brakes on a freewheel bicycle

Oh, and today I took second in the points race and third in the 3k pursuit/TT. I won gold in the omnium.
Nice!

I pretty much die in the mass start races. There are too many enduro guys that drive the pace up too high and I get burnt out before the sprint
