wow, thanks for all the replies everyone.
I have put allot of effort into the shop and was very meticulous on functionality. It was also nice to have my dad and father in-law helping out at times.
Bradleykd--great call on the bench vise. I never thought of that and am going to change it. Great idea thank you!!
Darth Steele-- yes need the pole, though i dont think my wife would allow the ladies that would use the pole..
Cydewaze-- beautiful country in those cottage areas. They also have some nice bike rides, Parry sound to bracebridge and a few others. Maybe you have rode them before
thanks again for all your comments folks. I do love my shop/hide away

Wow! Very Nice shop. I am jealous.
Last 6 months I have been in the process of cleaning out the junk and remodeling the garage. Patch/texture/paint, run new electrical, cabinets, shelving, small fridge (for beer!), heat, insulation, built in compressor, overhead and task lighting, and new insulated garage doors. The third bay is now my bike shop. The only task i have left is flooring. I filled the joints and sealed the concrete floor with inexpensive Home Depot clear sealer. Floor is cold and I need to find durable floor covering for the third bay to wrap up this project.
My lovely bride also mentioned mounting a TV out in the garage, but if that happens might never see me inside the house ... Which might be what she is thinking.

It's a nice room, but only one bike! I assume bike tools are in the red drawers? I like to hang them like your other tools, otherwise they don't get back into drawers and just cover the bench. I suggest adding small parts bins (like this one at random: https://www.use-enco.com/ProductImages/8979597-24.jpg) to keep your brake pads from your ferrules from your bolts from your valve caps. Where's the nearest sink? Somewhere to wash parts and your hands will keep the rest of your house (and that door) clean. I like the drop ceiling but I don't like the thought of critters (specifically 8-legged ones) setting up camp over my head D:

I live in Florida so you had me jealous just by stating that you have a basement. The shop just put it over the edge. Very nice.

Although a nice shop, but this, with one bike on the wall and a pump on the floor and a bike magazine on the bench, hardly qualifies as a "bike room". We need to see bike frames and parts scattered all over the place. So hopefully soon!!

Nothing in my life has ever looked that neat and organized. Disgusting.

(When people resurrect a thread that is years old since its last response...I wish they'd point that out in their post.)
I'm with those saying that it's too clean. It looks absolutely wonderful. But it looks like no work is done in there. My workbench area suffers from frequently spilled often grimy fluids on the bench top, and floor. Overcrowding on the workbench itself because of multiple unfinished/ongoing projects...some of them bike-related, some not...some of them not even for me.
Another issue with mine is it's location. It's in our two-car garage. On occassions when we've had contractors doing work in the house...bathroom refurbish, kitchen upgrade, etc...they will use the entrance into the house through the garage...right past my workbench. I've come home and found that they've used some of my tools. I've had to ask...TELL...them to not do that. They're being paid enough that they should have their own tools for the job.

Beautifully done! You've motivated me to start cleaning my garage-- on Christmas day.
