Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

40% off at Nashbar ends tonight

Pretty much any item over $75 is 40% off until tonight. I've tested the codes on pretty much everything.

Components, most wheels, garmin 705 etc.

Type FSCLEAR and THANKS1 at checkout.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the tip, ordered a Garmin edge 500. Been wanting one for awhile and was gonna put an order in with pbk but there sold out, with the codes nashbar ended up being cheaper and i'll probably get it quicker since it's in the states. Thanks again.

I can only get it to get it to take one of the codes so I can only get 20% off.

*edit - Figured it out, item has to be over $75 after the first 20% coupon in order for the second coupon to work.

Wow. I've really been eyeing up the Garmin 500 too. Any chance I'll ever see a better deal on this?

Nope. $210 for the bundle is freaking awesome. Wish I hadn't just got mine now, but I do love it!

$253.57 once you add shipping and tax for the bundle. Still better than anything I have found so far, but annoying (tax???).

NOT REALLY 40% off. It is 20% off then the remaining total gets another 20% off. This equals 36% off.

Correct. The math geek in me loved sales like this because people somehow convinced themselves they were getting a bigger discount without the company even implying such. Still a good deal, though. It's got me doing some frame measurements and calculations to see if the Nashbar Al frame could make an inexpensive replacement.

Depending on where you live you also get dinged with Tax/Shipping. Some very nice deals, but not necessarily amazing.

After you enter FSCLEAR and submit the code type in THANKS1 and submit the code. You will get 20% off twice.

Just placed an order for the Elite Race Workstand. I have been considering a stand that wouldn't require me to clamp my frame or seatpost and this one fits the bill. Hard to pass up for $120 shipped.

I read your thread about your frame, hope that you can work something out and get yourself riding on the road again.

I would like a Garmin 500, but that is a complete luxury that I will have to think about.

Hmmm.....I could replace my 14 y.o. mountainbike for just under $370 including shipping.
https://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product...3_10000_200516

Downside is obviously not being able to ride the bike first (never been on a 29er before).

Hmmmmmm........
