Sunglasses
My Tifosi are clearly not long for this world, and soon I'll need to get new cycling sunglasses. Not that there's anything wrong with mine, but I want to try something different. Who can recommend me a good pair?
Requirements:
* Interchangeable glasses (my current ones are photochromic, but there isn't a lot of variety among photochromic glasses, so I'll go for interchangeable this time.) I need daylight lenses and clear lenses.
* Neutral lens color (I don't care for weird orange/blue/etc. lenses)
* Full field of view coverage without holes
* Vents
Don't care about polarization. Scratch resistant lenses would be nice.
P.S. Oakley M Frame sunglasses are interesting, but it looks like they come with non-vented lenses by default, and carrying the second set could be cumbersome. Does anyone use these?

What about the Oakley Jawbones? They are called the Racing Jacket now, but its the same basic glasses. They meet all of your requirements, and come with your choice of a second set of lenses.

It seems to be even harder to find this exact combination than to find good photochromic glasses.
I need to check out Tifosi Pave and Tyrant. All the right features and only $70.

As far as I can tell, they don't come with black & clear lenses by default. They come either with green & clear, or with black and light grey. I can custom order the combination I want from oakley.com. Also, $240, ouch.

+1 I love my fast jackets with XL lenses. Easy lens changes and full FOV coverage with no obstructions, and i've never really had much problems with fogging even though they aren't vented.

I really like my Bolle Vortex glasses - https://www.bolle.com/products/vortex/tt-silver-tns.aspx
I bought yellow lenses for early/late rides, but I find them just fine for all my winter rides, even when the sun is out. I use the rose/gun photochromic lenses in the summer. For night riding I bought a pair of Smith & Wesson clear shooting glasses for $6.

I lost my Flak Jackets a little while back and replaced with Rudy Project Noyz. Pricing about the same as Flak's after discounts. The noyz are very light and uber comfortable/adjustable, nothing against them but I miss my Oakley's. They somehow felt more substantial (heavier of course), and I just liked the styling a little more. I think the quality of the optics were slightly better as well but that could be a mental thing since I had also purchased prescription lenses.

All my non vented shades tend to fog up on the bike. My vented lens never do.

It's really not that much effort. Especially when we're talking about a $35 pair of glasses. I say, look good and have more $$ for the bike.

I just use my normal Oakley A-wire sunglasses that I use for daily wear, while on the bike if it's sunny out. Otherwise I use a $10 pair of safety glasses I picked up at Lowe's. The A-wire's don't fit so close to my face that fogging is ever an issue.

You can buy additional lenses for Tifosi.

Standard lenses (non-fototec, non-polarized) are just $15. I have some fototec light night which are 75.9 - 27.7% light transmission. I will probably pick up some standard lenses with 15% or lower light transmission for days when I'll be in full sunlight for the whole time out.

Actually I don't think I'd want to mess around with interchangeable lenses.

glad i saw this thread. i had been wanting new sunglasses, as i usually just wear $10 drug store stuff (since i only wear them when riding). got tired of buying $10 glasses every few months.
was in Performance next to my work tonight and saw the Tyrants. $60, frame which seems pretty durable (guy working there said he wears them, was twisting and bending them). 3 sets of lenses (gray, orange, clear), vented lenses, seem easy enough to swap out the lenses. not sure if scratch resistant, but for the price of replacement lenses, i wasnt concerned. and $60 > $200+ i was gonna pay for oakley jawbones, so i picked them up
now to try them out this weekend and hopefully i like them.

I picked up some bolle specs (shiny black transitions or something or other) and they're totally clear at night and progress to about 50% I think during the day, so they're fantastic for dawn or dusk rides. They're not as comfortable as my Oakley Fast Jacket XL specs though, and since neither are vented, they fog up a bit at intersections on cold nights. (ha ha, cold... I mean 50 degrees)
If you're headed out to Palm Springs this weekend there's an oakley outlet at Cabazon.
