From the look of the derailleur it looks like pretty close to the bottom of the line, and it's probably from mid 80s

In my area, if those are alloy rims,I would pay $100 tops. If they are steel, $50. Less would be better.

Does anybody know anything about this model, most of what I have found (which isn't much) is from Australian forums, I am assuming that it is from the mid 80s

Don't even consider this bike and seller.
So far out of touch. Maybe she forgot the decimal point to make it 120.00
Doesn't even have Quick release skewers.
Move on and find a MUCH better bike for 80 -90 % less

Perhaps you could forward the bottom link (UK eBay) to the seller.
To save money one could always buy a frame set and add parts.
Here's a recent sale on the 'Bay for $48.77 + shipping
Came with headset and BB so saving some money here
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Ral...p2047675.l2557
or,
Check ebay UK - full bike for 20£
Buy it and fly over to bring it back as checked luggage. $1200 USD is 860£

Lowest end model for 84. Steel wheels. Nutted axle. With a weight of 32 pounds. It is not worth much.

Seriously, forward the eBay link to seller if you can.
Personally I believe anyone who thinks its a $3000 bike is a) insane or b) a scammer but maybe, maybe they just need to know better.
What worries me is that some poor bastard will fall for the "its really worth $3000, buy now for $1,200!!"" and get ripped off and get hurt financially. That person will then get turned off biking and that hurts all of us. Also when these people wait they probably will find a sucker and then other sellers hear of it and the prices drive up.
