A set of 28mm Schwalbe Pro Ones from Merlin Cycle. Can't wait to try them.
I was very pleased with how easy they mounted on my hookless SLR wheels as compared to my previous Giant / Cadex tires. I had to fight before to get them mounted and I think I could have mounted these even without a compressor.
I also tried the Muc-Off sealant instead of the Giant I had been using for the past 2 years. Will see if it makes a difference. Muc-Off is a little thicker and has particles inside that the Giant doesn't have so it should be better.

All,
The vintage folders I ride around on do not have QR axles.
So I ordered these dog bone wrenches from eBay to keep in the saddle bag.
Ordered 03/09, arrived today. Tested on Raleigh Twenty and Exclusiv. And didn't break, seemed solid enough. .
99 cents a piece, from China.

I had to remove the valve cores once mounted to add the sealant (I inflated them without sealant) and they both stayed bead-locked even with no air.

I bought a 0° offset seatpost for my Giant Defy Advanced 2. I've felt for a long time that I needed to move my saddle a little bit more forward and I was a little short of that with the offset seatpost that came with the bike. Now I just need an opportunity to try it.

Had a couple of cateye kinetic lights (sit really well on seatstays), some bar tape and tyre levers arrive from PBK yesterday. This stuff was add ons to a GP5000 order that they gave up on trying to fill. Probably won't be using them again in a hurry.

Found an outstanding conditioned, 7 month old, barely used Trek FX4 Sport Carbon for my wife. I was in a generous mood and also picked up a pair of Bontrager Aeolus Pro 37's to replace the boat anchor stock wheels.

went on a spending spree for my wife's new to her bike. Brake pads, Bontrager Verse saddle, Xpedo Spry pedals, Bontrager Aelous Pro 37's, Bontrager R2's in 32, chain, cassette more beneficial for our area.
