It's a national Monday holiday. The actual date is this coming Saturday.
Dead general/president. Generally a good guy, among all the chaff in Mexico's past.

Granted also I am retired and not in the stock market. I am, however, squarely in the target group for this disease . Different viewpoints make the world go round.

Since it's a new pathogen our understanding and knowledge about the details are evolving and incomplete. I would hope that explains the confusion about any lack of "full story."

Yes, and the seriousness of the threat was deliberately played down.

Take a gander at the 1918 flu and all the ways it could have been slowed down. Granted there was a war going on, but things that could have/should have been done were not done until it was way too late.

Locked out of the last page.... again! Grrr.
In addition to grocery shopping, my wife wanted me to stop of for some prosecco mini-splits for her - that's her apocalypse drink of choice, I guess. Anyway, wine prices got me thinking about whisky prices. $15-20 isn't uncommon for a bottle of wine and that really only lasts you one night. How long does a bottle of whisky last? A heck of a lot longer than that! Well, unless you hate your liver. Anyway, if we're using wine pricing vs consumption as a yardstick, $50 - $100 isn't unreasonable for an occasional splurge whisky, is it?
I think that I've talked myself in to it, at least.

The governor ordered all bars and casinos closed, and restaurants are take-out or drive-through only...in Louisiana. And schools are closed for at least a month, possibly the rest of the semester- online, or parents picking up packets on a weekly basis. Tulane just sent an email- if students that have stayed in town are caught throwing a house party (>10 people) they will be suspended.

What is your avatar?
Have you tried it?
I click on and there's a pop-up box. No level of busyness included.
Have you tried it?
Just just do a search for the store and look at the results on the map. Click on the desired location and an info sidebar should pop out. if you scroll down it will show the typical level of busyness, by hour for the given day, and the current level of busyness, if available.

It's a pot of boiled crawfish. I was hungry today while browsing around for a new picture.
