I found this rock!

My wife wanted me to bring this home ans put it in her rock garden.I explained that it would not fit through the hatch of our VW bug. Just kidding.
Nice ride today. Mostly paved greenway but 68* and just fun.
Frank.

Maybe it’s the tip af an underground granite mountain. Either that or it’s a glacial erratic.

All you need is a good bike trailer and some mighty low gears on the bike.

How many hills between the rock and your house? Downhill?

I think that technically, it's a stone. You will find that they are much better behaved than the common "rock". Depending upon how sophisticated you are, you may or may not agree with me.

Outcrop of the Rolesville Granite. Yes, named for where you live. Those spheroidally-weathered boulders are typical - and a beautiful backdrop for your nice bike. Check your house for radon, and happy riding.

You called it. We bought the house in 99 and during the inspection process the Radon was just over the legal limit. We have an extraction system that has lowered the number well below the requirement. Also, there are many "rocks" around where I live but not of this size normally.
Be safe all, Frank.
