Certain paper napkins or tissues are soft enough to use as a replacement if you can't get toilet tissue.

Cheers

You can always use cloth, and then wash them. You know, like diapers (used to be?).

Easy for me to say, you should see the shelves of yardage and scraps I've got in the sewing room.

What is it about the American psyche, that when panic sets in the first instinct is to SHOP?

Beer sales and consumption is up during Corona holiday.

You could always go really classic and vintage by using an xylospongium, which was the communal poop stick used in ancient Rome.

There are some bits of info that my life would have been better off with not knowing. This is one of them.

People are hoarding. It's stupid. This is going to be hard. The death tolls from Italy and Spain today are bad. 368 in Italy; 288 in Spain.

Our local supermarket stock up the TP shelves every evening. By 9am they're all gone.

Right now there's plenty of food and TP in the supply chain. Some things people are stocking up on all at once.

If you really need toilet paper, get up early when the major stores open. Ignore the hand sanitizer and just wash your hands frequently, it's more effective anyways.

Last night I stopped by the Yemeni owned mom and pops grocery store up the street to get some extra TP for some house guests. On the way out, I mentioned that American needed to learn to use their LEFT HAND!

They thought it was pretty funny.

When I started hearing and seeing Charmin ads for butt wipe, I knew that western culture was on the skids....

You know what I find odd about this hysteria in the USA going on right now? I remember the Cuban missile crises, I remember when Khrushchev said he was going to bury the US, I remember those days when the threat of nuclear war was at the highest level ever...yet people didn't go into hysterics and run to the store to clean off the shelves. I don't about you but I would think the threat of nuclear war would be just a tiny bit scarier than this stupid virus, and yet here are, us Americans, showing the world what a bunch of scaredy cats we really are. I bet China and Russia and other such places that don't like us all that much are laughing their collective arses off at us...I know I would be if I were one of them, tough Americans...riiiiight.

Empty shelves are a reality in Canada as well.
