Creaking/clicking bike

Hi guys.

I have an Apollo Paradox mountain bike. Over the past year it has developed a loud creaking noise when standing up and pedalling but is now starting to do it when sitiing too and pedalling! can anyone give me some guidance on what could be causing this and how to fix it?

My second question is where is the best place to buy replacement parts? I live in the UK.

Thanks in advance.

In my experience there are no shortcuts here. You just need to take apart, clean, and re-assemble everything that might creak until you find the culprit. I'd start with your shoes and the cleats, then the pedals, the cranks and chainrings, the bottom bracket. Check the frame for cracks, check the bars, the steer tube, the stem. Eventually you will find it...
