Longest Consecutive Number of Days Riding 3+ hours?
Films on the trans-am and ride across america races got me thinking could I ride that many days consecutively. (I know I can't ride 300 miles in a day!)
So for the last 10 days I've ridden 3+ hours a day and clocked up 460 miles. It's a great way to fine tune your setup to reduce pain as your body doesn't truly recover from the previous ride. I put my seat forward so my sit bones are way back and: i) butt pains disappear and ii) so does arm tingling.
I'm going to see how many days in a row I can do. I'll probably stop at 14 as I'm back to work on Tuesday.
So what is: i) the longest consecutive number of days you've ridden long distance and ii) what was the total distance?

911km in 7 days, with 21000m of climbing (1466mi and 69,000ft). The "rest day" was an individual time trial up Alpe D'Huez.

A whole week. Last year, on a cycling tour, I think we rode well over 3 hours each day. We didn't ride so much on the day of arrival, but after that it was a solid week of riding.
The only reasonable opportunities I have for more than two days riding three or more hours are holidays/vacations. Weekdays, the most I manage to get is 90 minutes in the morning.

That's 3 to 8 hours a day riding seven days a week. Some of us don't even work that hard!

6 days of 50+ miles each (lots of climbing on each day), on Ride the Rockies this year. Then I rode the next two days, but much easier rides.

Just looking back through my records.
I've done 3+ hour rides two days in a row a whole lot of times ... and three days in a row many times ...
Ah ha, I've found a four-day in a row of 181 km or more back in 2006. That was my Boston-Montreal-Boston attempt. And another in September 2005 - that was the Last Chance 1200. And another in August 2005. Not sure what that was ... 4 days of about 90 km/day. Can't remember. Probably just training rides.
There are several more four-day-in-a-row stretches from October-December in 2004 ... that was a 3-month tour of Australia, and near the beginning of that, I've got a five-day-in-a-row stretch which made up the 1200 km of the Great Southern Randonnee ... each a little over 200 km/day.
Another five-day-in-a-row stretch in early September 2003. That was a tour of Wales. Hilly!! And of course, just before that, a four-day-in-a-row which was the Paris-Brest-Paris. Those days are all between 200 and 400 km/day. Plus another similar four-day-in-a-row in July 2002 ... the Rocky Mountain 1200.
In August 2001, I cycled every day of that month. I do have some shorter days in there, but I started the month with a stretch of 7 days, then I eased up for a couple days, then did another 4-day stretch of longer rides, and then kind of alternated ... 3 or 4 days of longer rides, 1 shorter ride, etc.
And I did do 10 days in a row of 3+ hour rides in August 2000 ... in fact there are 14 days in a row, but the 11th ride would have come in just at 3 hours or maybe a few minutes less. Prior to that 14-day stretch, I did a 9-day stretch, then rode slightly shorter distances a couple days, then did that 14-day stretch, then I took a day off and did it again for another 7 days.
Fond memories of those days.

4 days for me, between 200-300km each day. Our target was 1000km, in the end all in all we hit about 950km.

Stopped at 13. celebrating 4th of July
So I stopped at 13 days yesterday for a total of 582 miles.
Great experience and highly recommended. I adjusted many small things and everythingg feels great.
Also delighted there were no pains at all so body is in not too bad shape.
Happy 4th of July.

If you can ride 582 miles (937 km) over 13 days, you're ready for a 200K. You're probably ready for a 300K.

I rode my first century (100 miles) in 1994. When I finished it, my thought was ... "I am so glad that's done and I never have to do something like that again!!"
For 3 years, I didn't.
Then in 1997, I decided to try a couple again, and they weren't too bad.
I've now cycled 170 centuries or longer rides. That after swearing I'd never ride another one again!

I don't have hard counts but when I was training for 7-10 day stage races it involved A LOT of volume.
It got to the point where I didn't even warm up until after the first hour and most of my rides were 3-4 hours a day with a pair of 5-6 hour rides on the weekend with team mates.
Crazy.
