New to me Schwinn cruiser
I picked up an orange Schwinn cruiser today locally, it needs some love and new tires/tubes, but it's a lot more interesting than the picture let on! It has an aluminum body, a springer fork, and oddly(?) it has brass spoke nipples.
The bottom tube is a very stretched oval, almost being more flat than oval, still has the color matching fenders and seems to be a single speed with a coasting brake. No idea on the age so far, but I think it's newer than 2000.
Edit: Here’s a picture. I think it will be rather sharp when it’s all fixed up!

So what if it's made in China, lube the squeaky bits and get to riding. I dig the orange color. It is newer because the old stems have a bolt and not an allen key.

The construction looks odd. I would have said much older than 2000 but an aluminum frame surprises me and it could be that young. PS I like the color too.
